IMPORTANT INFORMATION!  GUARD THE PRIVATE INFORMATION OF YOUR MERCHANTS.

As a retailer of merchant services, you are entrusted with private information belonging to your merchants.  We require a merchant to prove their identity to us in order to set up a merchant account, as required by Association Regulations.  This means that when you send an application for a merchant into Merchant Services Network for processing, you are conveying private information about the merchant:  his or her social security number, driver's license, date of  birth, home address and so on.

Please be very careful in the conveyance of this information, and be certain to destroy any copies you might possess once the merchant account has been set up by the corporate office.  Do not risk being the cause of the wrong person getting hold of your merchant's private information.

Changes!!

Merchant Services Network is pleased to announce that it is changing the way it pays its sales reps.  In an effort toward streamlining our operation and giving our outside sales reps a better way to make money, we are changing the way we calculate residuals.

In the next few weeks, you will be receiving a new Exhibit B for your contract with Merchant Services Network.  Instead of setting "Buy Rates" for your MasterCard and Visa products, we will be offering you a split, based on Pass Through Interchange,  You will still be able to price your merchants in the traditional tiered fashion if that is your preference, but your cvompensation will be based on true Interchange pricing.  We think you are going to love the change.
